Kawasaki Z900 2025-2026 accessories: what already exists and what changes vs the 2020-24

The Kawasaki Z900 2025 is the same bike as ever underneath, but on the outside almost everything you see from the front changes: new front end, new headlight and a bigger TFT display. And here's the problem for anyone who has just bought one: most accessories you find by searching "Z900" are designed for the 2020-24 and don't fit.

In this guide we tell you what changes physically, which 2025-26-specific parts we already have, which ones fit every generation and how to make sure your bike is a 2025-26 before ordering anything. Our own bike is a 2020-24; the photos of the 2025-26 parts come from community riders who already have them fitted.

1. What physically changes on the Z900 2025-2026

  • Headlight. New LED design with a different shape and lens size. The 2020-24 "eye" decals match neither the outline nor the dimensions.
  • Front end and winglet mounts. The headlight side panels are different, so a 2020-24 winglet neither sits nor anchors where it should. The 2025-26 winglet is made for the new shape.
  • Tail tidy. The tail and the plate mounting change; the 2017-24 short tail tidy doesn't fit. The 2025-26 one has its own mounting.
  • TFT display. New, bigger screen: the 2020-24 protector is too small. There's a specific one.

What does not change: engine, frame, radiator, axles, engine covers, mirror mounts and footpegs. Everything that bolts on there still fits.

2. What we already have for the Z900 2025-26

Front winglet 2025-26

The sport front winglet for the Z900 2025-26 (€34.99) is the part we get asked for most and the one that changes the front end the most. Three finishes: gloss black, matte black and carbon. About 10 minutes to fit. It's a cosmetic part; the roadworthiness inspection may ask you to remove it, and it comes off in the same time.

Headlight vinyl 2025-26

The headlight vinyl for the 2025-26 (€15.99) is cut for the new lens. Eight designs: neon green, realistic green, neon red, red, blue, reptile orange, feline yellow and wolf. Five minutes and no tools. Same as the winglet: cosmetic, and it peels off without a trace if they ask.

Short tail tidy 2025-26

The short tail tidy for the Z900 2025-26 (€49.99) removes the tail "tail" in about 30 minutes. It changes the plate position, so keep the original and refit it for the inspection.

TFT screen protector 2025-26

The TFT screen protector 2025-26 (€9.99) is the cheapest item on the list and the one you appreciate most over time: the new screen is big and keys, gloves and sun punish it.

What fits every generation (2017-2026)

You'll find all of it together in the Z900 2025-2026 collection. What does not fit the 2025-26: the 2020-24 winglet, the 2020-24 eye decals, the 2020-24 smoked tail light film, the 2020-24 brake caliper guard and the 2020-24 TFT protector. If you see them in the shop, they're for the other generation.

3. Kits for the 2025-26

We've put together two kits based on what's usually ordered together:

  • Front Kit (2025-26), €56.99: winglet, headlight vinyl and TFT protector. Separately they're €60.97; as a kit you save €3.98 and shipping is included. The full face change in about 20 minutes.
  • Clean Tail Kit (2025-26), €72.99: short tail tidy and racing exhaust bracket. Separately they're €79.98; you save €6.99 with shipping included. About 45 minutes to fit and the rear is clear.

If you'd rather start with protection, the Total Protection Kit (2017-26) fits the 2025-26 just the same: engine, radiator and axles for €139.99.

4. How to know if your bike is a 2025-26

Before ordering, check that your Z900 is the new generation. Three quick clues:

  • The display: the new TFT is bigger and a different format from the 2020-24 one.
  • The headlight: the new LED lens has a sharper shape and the front side panels are different.
  • The first registration date: if it's 2025 onwards and not a leftover unit from the previous year, it's the new one.

If you're still unsure, in which Kawasaki Z900 generation you have we explain it in detail for all three. And if it's still not clear, send us a photo of the front end at info@z900build.com and we'll tell you.

Quick questions

Does the Z900 2025 winglet pass the roadworthiness inspection?

It's a cosmetic part and we don't sell it as type-approved. At the inspection they may ask you to remove it; it comes off in about 10 minutes and goes back on. Same with the headlight vinyl.

Can I use 2020-24 accessories on my 2025?

Engine, radiator, axle, exhaust bracket and CNC parts, yes. Winglet, headlight vinyls, tail tidy and TFT protector, no: the 2025-26 has its own.

How long does delivery take and what if it doesn't fit?

Preparation in 24-48 h and delivery in 7-12 days with tracking. Free shipping from €55. You have 30 days to return it, and if your bike turns out to be another generation we'll help you swap it for the right part.
