Kawasaki Z900 2020-2024 con colín monoplaza y piezas de la tienda montadas

Mods for your Kawasaki Z900 by generation

The Z900 has had three front ends since 2017. Bodywork parts don't carry over from one to the next. Here's what fits yours, generation by generation.

How to tell which Z900 you have

Look at the front end. It's the most reliable way.

Generation Front end Dash
2017–2019 Round halogen headlight LCD
2020–2024 V-shaped LED headlight Colour TFT
2025–2026 Angular fairing Colour TFT

The registration date can be misleading on bikes from late 2019 or 2024. If in doubt, trust the headlight. More detail in which Z900 generation you have.

Z900 2017–2019

The first generation shares the tail tidy and front fender with the 2020–2024. The front end is different.

Z900 2020–2024

This is the generation with the most parts.

If you'd rather not pick part by part, there are kits for this generation: First Mod Kit, First Protection Kit, Crash Protection Kit, Front Kit and Dark Look Kit.

Z900 2025–2026

The front end is new and so is the dash. That's why bodywork parts from the 2020–2024 don't fit here, even though both have LED lights.

Kits: Front Kit 2025-26 and Clean Tail Kit 2025-26.

Parts that fit all three

The engine, radiator, axles and machined details haven't changed enough to need different parts.

Universal parts that fit any generation: silicone exhaust protector and mini LED indicators.

Kits for every generation

Kits may arrive in several parcels, each with its own tracking.

Where to start

You don't have to fit everything at once. A simple order, whatever your generation:

  1. Protect first. Radiator and engine covers. These are the parts that save you a costly repair if the bike tips over standing still.
  2. Change the look. The headlight decal for your generation changes the front end in a few minutes.
  3. Clean up the rear. The short tail tidy is the mod that changes the silhouette the most. First, read our mods guide and what we say about the roadworthiness test (MOT) on each product page.
  4. Details last. CNC caps, covers and mirrors. They're what finish the build.

Fit two parts, ride for a couple of weeks and then decide on the next one.

Compatibility questions

What about the Z900 SE?

It has the same bodywork as the Z900 from its year. Brakes and suspension are different: for brake parts, ask us first.

Does anything fit the Z900RS or Z650?

They don't share bodywork with the Z900. Only what the product page says will fit. Some parts, like the mirrors or the flyscreen, are also listed for the Z650.

What if I'm not sure?

Message us with a photo of the front end before ordering. We'll tell you what fits.
